Temple Beth El of Somerset has been a major force of Jewish life in the community for more than 35 years. Our congregation is small by some standards, but its impact on the community has been enormous. In the schools and on the Board of Education, in commerce and industry, in government and civic organizations you will find members of Temple Beth El shaping life in Franklin Township, North Brunswick, and surrounding areas, and you will find the temple itself a strong supporter of programs for the homeless, the hungry, the needy--fulfilling the Jewish traditions of tzedakah, charity, and tikun olam, improving the world.

The Temple also serves as an adviser to public officials on the special needs of the Jewish community.
